Happy Holidays!

Well folks my nephew has arrived! We are so thrilled. I am flying out with my mom but we are flying seperately. I couldn't make my reservations untill I spoke with the surgeon. My surgery date is still undetermined and more than likely it will occur the end of January. I've already become the human pin-cushion. In fact, I just returned from having some more labwork done. So, back to the baby! He was born on the 21st, weighing in at 9.5 lbs and 21 inches long! That is one huge baby. And my sister in law did it all natural. PHEW! Kudos to her. I do not know how she could. Anyway, we will be headin to Idaho to meet the big/lil guy, and I am certain I will have tons of pictures posted on here soon. I'll probably have time to write from Spudsville.

Out with the Old and in with the New

Perhaps that is a good metaphor on how life is about now. I made it through finals, made it through all the doctor visits, and now just waiting for baby Oscar to be born. He is due today, but obviously he must have checked with the weatherman, because he is not coming out. Just like a Bonilla though, it's Bonilla time...he'll arrive on Bonilla time. I did speak with my brother and the labor will be induced on the 23rd if there is still no action. More later on updates of it all! Life has certainely been exciting indeed!

A work in progress. Countdown to Semester's end.

I really enjoyed this semester. The challenges were definitely challenging enough. It is so hard to believe this is prep for finals week! Well, I've had some interesting people in my life this semester. A bunch trickle over from last year and remain dear to me. My poor mom, is working herself to death, and it seems like we are two ships passing in the night. Ok, so that is an exaggeration. Max and Ozzy, our two loveable little dogs are so patient. I know they miss me everyday. When I get home, Ozzy is standing on his hind legs walking backwards for me. Max just kinda noses his way to the gate and plays with my ankle. I know they really just want their food, who am I kidding?

Back to this work in progress. I enjoy photos and stories of people, places and events. This is mainly why I've created this blog. Also, so I can be a proud auntie and brag about my Niece and Nephew. Which by the way, I have not heard of any new developments on the nephew frontier. Baby Oscar is due December 18th! No news yet.

Now I must go study but I will insert a photo or two:slowly introducing you into my world, through photos and stories. So please come back for more. Like I mentioned in yesterday's post, I am in performance for our Christmas concert this weekend and will not be writing much. Next week is finals, so I might try to sneak a tidbit in or two. Coming Soon To a Theater Near You

Well folks, you've probably arrived here by invitation or by accident. Ok, now that is funny. I am in final's week and performances this weekend, so I will not be writing a long drawn out blog. I am going to write, what you might expect seeing here in the next weeks to come. My brother is having a baby...well Rachel his wife is. We are all so very excited. He is the first grandson and my little nephew. Bevany my niece is super excited too! Although, she is sad she won't get to meet him in Idaho this Christmas. One of my favorite cousins had a baby too! She is as pretty as can be! No, I just own dogs, no kids, just dogs. I'm on the downhill slope of this fall semester and opening the door to some new adventures. Unfortunately not all are as daisy sweet as the first paragraph. I will be having surgery. Yep...I'm gonna get fixed! I've been battling fibroids for nearly a decade, and it is time to finally give it up. Not going through this anymore. So you will read cute updates about my niece and nephew and family in general as well as, my life to the road of "the new me" and loving it. Well I'm sure I will be loving it. K...that's it for now.
